A Great Way to Put Money in your Band Account

The sale of grocery cards is probably one of the most misunderstood fund raising event that the band offers to all families. It REALLY IS QUITE SIMPLE!! The Band Boosters buy the coupons/cards at a discount. A band family can then buy/sell the coupons/cards for face value at their local grocery establishment.

For example, when you buy $100.00 in cards from us (we offer Kroger), you receive $5.00 in credit towards your account. When you shop at the store, you STILL RECEIVE $100.00 in groceries. This is a way that stores work with the communities in supporting school groups. We basically make $5.00 off each $100.00 sold!

Let’s see – 36 weeks of school -- $100.00 check per week generates $5.00 profit per week – that’s $180.00 in your account for doing nothing but EATING WHICH YOU DO DAILY! It does not get any easier than this! You are not selling anything – just a trading a check to the Band Boosters vs. a check to the Grocery store!!

Parents – when you go to work, discuss this with your fellow workers and start collecting checks. Send them to us with your band student’s id number written on the lower left, and we will send the coupons/cards home.
